Rather like this video, Mike Loades who's a historian and keen horse archer, riding Valkyrie in a cordeo some of the time. Mr Loades has pointed out that we should call ourselves horse archers, not horseback archers (blame the Americans for that one) and not mounted archers either, as mounted archers rode to battle, but then dismounted to actually shoot. Ah well, too late now, we've had the t-shirts done :lol:

:thumbup: brilliant thanks Helen- he has confirmed my thoughts that the rider's balance is crucial- he doesn't lean and is in super balance...rather a high benchmark for me :lol:

Here's a video from Emil Eriksson, former world champion and a really nice guy. He was at our Easter camp in France and showed us how important having a stable lower leg is for horseback archery.
